Affiliate Disclosure
How AIKERYX earns commissions from affiliate links, and the rules we apply so that money never influences our scores or conclusions.

What this means in plain terms
AIKERYX is free to read and is funded partly by affiliate commissions. Some outbound links pass through a redirect such as /go/vendor-slug before they reach the vendor. Those links carry an affiliate tag and are marked with rel="sponsored" in the page source, so both readers and crawlers can tell them apart from ordinary citations.
We publish this disclosure to comply with the US Federal Trade Commission guidance on endorsements and with equivalent consumer protection rules in other markets. It applies to every page on the site, including reviews, comparisons, and roundups.
What commissions do not buy
- Ratings. Scores come from our published testing process, not from commission rates. A vendor with no affiliate programme can outrank one that pays us.
- Conclusions. We publish negative findings, including about tools we link to commercially.
- Placement. We do not sell reviews, list positions, or featured slots.
- Access. We do not let vendors pre-read or approve our drafts.
We also do not accept payment for positive coverage in any form, including sponsorship that comes with editorial sign-off.
Which links are affiliate links
We aim to mark commercial links clearly. In practice, outbound calls to action such as "Visit site" generally route through /go/ and are affiliate links, while links inside commentary and citations generally are not. When in doubt, assume that any link to a vendor's signup or pricing page may be commercial. There is no downside to you either way: the price you see on the vendor's site is the price you pay.
If you would rather not use our links
You are never obligated to click them, and skipping them costs you nothing. To avoid affiliate tracking entirely, open a new tab and type the vendor's address directly, or search for the vendor name and navigate to its own domain. Plans and prices are identical whether or not you arrive through our link.
Vendor-supplied access
Sometimes a vendor offers us a free or discounted account for testing. We generally prefer to pay our own way. Where we do accept access, we disclose it in the review, and it does not change how we score the tool or how we present our findings.
